Powerful Conversations for Property Entrepreneurs
In property, your words can make or break a deal. But it’s not just about what you say—it’s about how people hear it, how they respond, and what drives decision-making in the moments that matter.
Danny Tuckwood and Barbara Walsh bring decades of experience in leadership, coaching, and behavioural change into the property space.
These sessions are built on practical tools drawn from the NLP Communication Model, refined over fifteen years of working with senior leaders, teams, and business owners, and now adapted for the real-world challenges faced by property entrepreneurs.

1-Hour Talks
Mind the Gap!
Why Clear Communication
Isn’t Always Clear
You thought you’d explained it perfectly, but somehow it didn’t land the way you intended… sound familiar?
In this practical session, we unpack the hidden layers that shape how we humans process information. Learn why each person will interpret the same conversation in their own way (100% of the time!). Discover tools for using language more effectively, to avoid costly misunderstandings and build stronger influence in every deal.
Rapport that Works
Building Trust Faster in Property Conversations
People buy from people - and in property, trust needs to be built quickly.
Whether you’re negotiating with sellers, pitching to investors, or aligning a team, rapport is key. In this interactive session, we explore simple but powerful techniques to create genuine connections - even with people very different from you.
Emotions Under Pressure
Handling Heat Without Burning Bridges
High-stakes decisions and difficult conversations are an integral part of every property journey, and your emotional state in those moments shapes what you say and do.
Your ability to stay calm and centred, and help others do the same, can be the difference between chaos and clarity. In this session, we explore how our emotions are triggered and what you can do to reset when it happens to you, so you can stay composed, clear, and in control. From navigating tough talks to making clear-headed choices under pressure, you’ll leave with tools to manage both your inner world and your external impact.
Half-Day Workshops
The Inner Game of Property
How to Decide When the Data Falls Short
From deciding whether to go in strong on a best-and-final offer, to walking away from a deal that’s almost right, property entrepreneurs face countless judgment calls that can’t be solved with spreadsheets alone. How often have you found yourself working with limited information, relying on instinct, and committing under pressure?!
In this interactive workshop, we explore what really drives those decisions. You’ll uncover how hidden mental filters, past experiences, and emotional states shape what you notice, how you assess risk, and what you choose to do next.
We work through real-world scenarios where decision paralysis, overconfidence, or second-guessing can cost you, financially and emotionally. You’ll learn how to spot internal blind spots, surface unconscious beliefs, and challenge the mental filters that cloud your judgment.
With practical tools you can apply immediately to stay grounded and strategic, you’ll be more in control, even in complex, high-stakes situations.
The Trusted Negotiator
Creating Win-Win Property Deals
Great negotiators don’t win at the other person’s expense; they find a solution both sides can believe in. This workshop focuses on how to create and hold that space in property deals, even when the stakes are high and interests don’t align.
We reframe negotiation as a process of influence, clarity, and trust-building. You’ll learn how to structure conversations that uncover what really matters to the other party, defuse any tension, uncover hidden objections, and guide discussions with clarity and calm. In aligning values and motivations, you reach outcomes that feel like a win on both sides.
We’ll work through practical techniques you can use with sellers, agents, JV partners, and investors, so that you can negotiate with purpose, not pressure. The result? Stronger relationships, smarter agreements, and fewer deals lost to miscommunication or misalignment.
