Our 3 Pillars

  • A Leadership Team that sets and steers the strategy and focus
  • A Core Professional Team that we collaborate with on every project

Core Professional Team

Ritchie Clapson Gradient

Ritchie Clapson

Developments Mentor

Ritchie is a chartered Structural Engineer who has worked across all sectors of construction, including residential, healthcare, sports, and commercial. His 45-year career includes many iconic projects, including main designer for the 2012 Olympic Stadium, Velodrome, and Aquatics buildings, as well as the Wimbledon retractable roof and the world-renowned sculptures at The Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Chartered Accountant

Chris heads the Property Sector specialism for GMS Accountants. With over 25 years experience, he ensures that the companies within the Bardan Group are optimally structured for tax-efficient profit extraction and advises on capital purchases, funding, and the financial aspects of project planning. The Property Sector team at GMS manage Bardan’s financial returns and keep us updated with fiscal changes.

Project Manager & QS

With over 25 years of hands-on experience in cost management and construction delivery, Dan provides robust oversight across Bardan’s developments. His expertise spans early-stage estimating, detailed cost planning, procurement support, and ongoing cost control. Working closely with the wider team of engineers, specialist consultants and contractors, Dan’s disciplined, pragmatic approach helps control spend, reduce delivery risk, and protect project margins while maintaining the highest standards of build quality and programme integrity.

Planning Consultant

Colin has over 35 years of experience in property development, beginning in architectural practice before turning his attention to planning. His deep knowledge of planning policy and law and building control requirements helps Bardan find practical solutions to many planning dilemmas – and equally importantly, know early on when to withdraw. With specialist expertise in Permitted Development Rights, Colin oversees the design process, liaises with the Local Authority to obtain necessary approvals, and maintains close contact throughout the project with the Construction Management Team.

Legal Advisor

Tony operates at the stage before transactions and development projects become fixed or costly to unwind. He provides structured legal analysis, drafting, and strategic risk insight within the scope of non-reserved legal activities, supporting property investors, developers and business owners in understanding the legal and structural position before commitments are made. This ensures that decisions are taken with clarity and coherence by combining consultancy with structured reasoning, bridging legal complexity and commercial reality.

Solicitor

Julie brings 15 years of property legal expertise to our team. Her extensive knowledge of specialist investment approaches, including joint ventures and non-traditional sales contracts, typically yields higher returns for both vendor and buyer than traditional market sales. Her strategic approach and expertise in complex investment structures helps Bardan maximise latent opportunities inherent in our projects, whilst transacting within the complex legal framework of the UK property market.
