Barbara Walsh

Barbara brings over three decades of experience as an entrepreneur, driving strategic business growth. Her biggest success stories include leading the growth of a global travel franchise group across Sub-Saharan Africa and growing the leadership consultancy she built with Danny, which for 10 years supported some of the region’s largest organisations as clients. Following a successful exit, she relocated to the UK in 2021 and redirected her visionary and strategic expertise into property development.

Alongside her corporate work, Barbara developed a strong foundation in property, including the extensive reconfiguration and refurbishment of her own home and office premises, managing her high-performing Airbnb unit, and overseeing a buy-to-let investment. These experiences now inform her design sensibility and value-focused approach at Bardan.

Barbara thrives in fast-moving, complex environments and is energised by working with people who think differently. At Bardan, she leads on strategic planning, business communication, investor engagement, and design oversight. Her ability to navigate high-stakes conversations and build trusted partnerships is central to how Bardan operates.

Known for spotting value where others don’t, Barbara enjoys blending creative vision with transformational execution, blending a human-centred approach with commercial logic, integrity, and care.

When not immersed in business, she’s often out walking in the East Sussex countryside or exploring new destinations – she has travelled to 66 countries to date!
