Chris Smith

Chris leads the Property Sector specialism for GMS Accountants. He ensures that the companies within the Bardan Group are optimally structured for tax-efficient profit extraction on capital purchases, funding options, and the structuring of private investor returns, as well as the financial aspects of project planning.

As an ICAEW and ACCA qualified Chartered Accountant, Auditor, Business Coach and Trained Mediator, Chris has vast experience and knowledge of working in the property and sports industries within the UK. Previously with EY, a global advisory firm, he went on to be a founding partner of GMS FC. The firm offers specialist end-to-end back office, accountancy and consulting services to the property sector, and works with a wide range of clients from startups to multi-million-pound enterprises.

His experience and knowledge are practically based. He has formed, operated and sold many of his own businesses – with his first one started at the age of just 16!
