Danny Tuckwood

Over the past three decades, building several businesses has refined Danny’s strengths in financial acumen, opportunity assessment, and risk management.

A British national, he lived in South Africa for 14 years. Together with Barbara, he co-founded one of Southern Africa’s top leadership consultancies, working with executives and teams in blue-chip organisations to build clarity, drive performance, and create scalable success.

Property investment, initially a sideline during his time in South Africa, provided Danny with hands-on experience in managing and evaluating various property strategies – from full back-to-brick refurbishments and extensions to new-build buy-to-lets and a top-rated serviced accommodation cottage.

After selling the consultancy and returning to the UK in 2021, Danny transitioned into property development full-time. His operational focus, analytical rigour, and systems thinking form the backbone of Bardan’s delivery model.

At Bardan, Danny leads on sourcing, operations, finance, and legal. He conducts due diligence with the same drive as a dog with a bone, structures deals, manages contracts, and oversees project operations. Known for his calm presence and structured thinking, he’s passionate about creating win-win outcomes across the business.

Away from business, Danny is a lifelong rugby fan and an avid yacht sailor – happiest when he’s catching a game or catching the wind on open water.
